Faisal Cheema is a PhD candidate in public affairs at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Research Associate at the MGMT Lab.  He also earned a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University New York and a bachelor's in economics and statistics from Pakistan. Faisal also holds more than 20 years of work experience in public management and public finance in the civil service of Pakistan. His research interests exist at the intersection of three broad areas of public administration: bureaucracies and governmental performance, governance structures and policy outcomes, and public financial management.  He loves playing golf, cricket, and tennis during his free time.
